Introducing the Voxativ PI-Bass – the refined big brother of our beloved Z-Bass, designed to deliver the most articulate, tight, and coherent bass imaginable for all listening rooms.
The PI-Bass combines the proven Ripol concept with our proprietary Acoustic Stealth Technology®, creating a unique open system that moves virtually no air volume – a design that translates into astonishing speed and clarity.
Fitted with two 96 dB neodymium drivers, the PI-Bass achieves a system sensitivity of 99 dB. These woofers, with their ultra-low moving mass and high-performance motors, are lightning-fast—matching the legendary speed of Voxativ’s full-range drivers. The result? Deep, powerful bass down to 20 Hz, delivered with precision and musicality.
The PI-Bass system is active, powered by a 250 W Class A/B plate amplifier. It features its own adjustable crossover for seamless integration, whether connected via line-level, preamp out, or high-level input—you decide. Fine-tune every detail: level, crossover frequency, and phase adjustments are all onboard, ensuring a perfect match with your existing stereo system.
For true bass extension, we recommend a pair of PI-Bass units.
Naturally, this system complements all Voxativ loudspeakers, enhancing their performance without ever overshadowing their magic.

I would paraphrase it's core character as a dynamically turbo-charged electrostat (which would be enormous for equivalent bandwidth; and require very powerful amps happy into capacitive loads to drive).
If you admire full-range stats for their top-to-bottom coherence, speed, boxlessness and transparency but always found them dynamically pale and ever more so with descending frequencies, Voxativ have a far more compact alternative which operates entirely outside those limitations.
